What’s it made of? The frame is 6061-T6 aluminum. We thought a lot about material choice. We wanted to be able to make the frame strong, light, and we wanted to be able to put some shape and style into it.
Who invented it? Honestly, not us. These toys have been around for the past decade or more. However, we are striving to build the safest, best handling, and smoothest one around. We’re not the originators of the sport, but we think we’re raising the bar. Bad for the rest of the competition, but good for you. Does it use standard mountain bike parts? Many of the parts are mountain bike parts that have been modified to work with this design. We are currently testing a variety of configurations to decide on what is most effective and cost efficient for the customer
Can I buy one? How much does it cost? Not yet. We’re still testing the design and figuring out ways to get the cost down. ACTIVE FORCE FAQs When I support Active Force Foundation, how are my dollars used? Active Force has very little overhead cost. We’re all putting in time because we believe in the cause. 80 cents of every dollar goes to manufacturing, testing, awareness, and supporting events that we believe in. Why Support Active Force? There are two ways to improve the human condition. One is to remove pain, the other is to add happiness. We are focusing on the later.
